I am very happy and grateful to announce that I have been elected president of SIBMAS, the International Association of Libraries, Museums, Archives and Documentation Centres of the Performing Arts, at the 33rd SIBMAS conference in Warsaw, Poland. SIBMAS is a UNESCO cultural committee and was founded in 1954.
I will share this office with my dear colleague Alan Jones from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow.
I am a researcher with heart and soul and I am convinced that we can achieve great things if we pool our potentials!
I thank all my colleagues and friends for their trust and look forward to all that is to come!!
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dorotea Alexandroff, coordinator and main organizer of the conference in Warsaw, for her incredible efforts. With her dedication and personality, she has contributed to making this conference unforgettable.
